The romance of the American West has always captivated me. Its rugged beauty,
wide-open skies, honest materials, and the way light shifts over the land create a visual
poetry that keeps drawing me back. Over the years, it has shaped how I live and how I
design in profound ways. I’ve come to describe this style, this sensibility, as Rustic Luxury.
Rustic Luxury is about balance. It is places rooted in and inspired by the land, layered with
materials that feel settled, and enriched with luxurious details reflective of the
way people live. Rough and smooth, weathered and polished, grounded and elevated.
These contrasts create spaces that feel like they have always belonged.
That spirit is what the William Peace brand is built on. A personal extension of
Peace Design, it gives me the chance to explore projects and passions beyond the studio
while staying true to the ideals that have always guided my work.
